January 1, 2010 – Holy Ghost Ukrainian Catholic
Parish will begin its 95th Jubilee Year with a
special Divine Liturgy on the Feast of
Pentecost. This year will see many various
activities highlighting Ukrainian Catholics in
Akron, OH for 95 years
January 2, 2010 -- Parents, Grandparents and all men and women who are interested in praying for the welfare of our children and grandchildren will meet in the Chapel on the First Saturday of each Month at 10:00 A.M. at St. JohnÕs Church. We begin with the Akathist to the Mother of God and honor her in the Miraculous Icon of Nurturer of Children and have spontaneous prayer also. Call Irene Borodycia for more information.

Vechir at Holy Trinity Church in Carnegie, PA
January 10, 2010 --There will be a Testimonial Dinner for Bishop Robert Moskal
sponsored by the Diocesan Resource Committee. Divine Liturgy at Holy Trinity
Church in Carnegie, PA followed by a reception at the Airport Mariott at 1:30

January 10,2010 – The Ukrainian Cultural Choir will have its Christmas concert at 3 o'clock at Holy Virgin
Ukrainian Orthodox Church in Arnold, PA.
January 13, 2010 – Pro-Life Prayer Vigil sponsored by Ss. Peter & Paul Church, Ambridge, PA.
A candle-lit procession will begin at 6:00 P.M. at the Gazebo in Ambridge at the 11th St. and Merchant St. Park . The procession will follow down main street to SS. Peter & Paul Church at 6th & Melrose Ave.
All parishes and churches are invited to participate.

will be in the church hall at Epiphany of Our
Lord in St. Petersburg, FL.

MARCH 14-16, 2010 – Our Lenten Missionary will be Fr. Hiero -monk Reginald Russo, OFM-Capuchin. Fr. Reggie will be at St John’s in Southside Pittsburgh, PA on March 14 for Vespers starting at 3:00 pm, and then at St John’s in Southside Pittsburgh again on March 15-16, with Confessions beginning at 6:30 pm and Akathist to the Passion of Christ at 7:00 pm. Fr. Reggie will be at at St. George’s in Northside Pittsburgh on March 17-18 and at St. John’s in McKees Rocks on March 19.
